Why Instagram is My Main Sales Channel
Instagram definitely brings in the most traffic and sales for me. With a modest ad budget of around €200-300 monthly, I focus on creating reels, carousel posts, and stories to keep my audience engaged.
-
Photo content showing jewellery worn on real people gets the best reaction.
-
Keeping up a regular posting schedule and encouraging engagement is a big ongoing learning curve.
My Experience with Etsy and My Own Shop
Etsy helps me make sales but with its high fees, I have to raise prices, which lowers customer interest.
My own Shopify store is still young — it takes time for Google to pick it up and start showing it organically, so growth is slow but steady.

Building Relationships and Authentic Marketing
The toughest part has been building genuine engagement. I try to be as authentic as possible and share real behind-the-scenes moments. It’s this honesty I hope will help me build trust with my customers.
If you have experience or tips on marketing handmade products, I’d love to hear from you!
